Low Voltage Electrician

Job duties: Including but not limited to new installs, upgrade/downgrade of services, troubleshooting, programming, and configuring all types of telecommunication equipment. You will be working with all types of cable including Cat5/Cat6, small components to establish cable connections, signal paths and flows, use of hand tools and testing equipment, Installation/replacement of residential Honeywell Vista-20P alarm panels, commercial/ residential POE cameras, Cat5E data outlets, residential thermostats and more.

Physical Requirements

• Candidates need to be able to bend, reach, twist, climb, squat and kneel without restrictions.
• Able to use a safety harness, climb utility poles (25’) and utilize up to 28’ extension ladders while wearing tool belts.
• Safely walk over all types of terrain carrying tools, ladders (60-75 lbs.) and equipment.
• Work in all weather conditions including inclement weather and in extreme heat/ cold environments.
• Work in confined or restrictive areas such as crawl spaces and attics that may be poorly ventilated.
• Comfortable with traveling, sitting, or standing for extended periods of time.
  

Requirements

• Full time
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• MVR with three or less moving violations/ accidents collectively within the past three years.
• All final candidates must undergo and pass security sensitive background checks and a controlled substance screening.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work full time with an open flexible schedule and willing to work weekends, overtime, and holidays when necessary to meet customer needs/system demands.
• General working knowledge of computers, laptops, operating systems, emails, PDF, GPS/ Navigation systems and electronics is preferred.
