Warehouse Technician

Requirements

• Performing duties associated with the storage, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and issuance of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies such as but not limited to:
• Inspecting, repairing, and testing all equipment, tools, supplies, and materials entering the department, ensuring they are in working order.
• Maintaining inventory in a secure place within the warehouse; adhering to inventory control procedures to assure safe storage of inventory and accurate inventory counts.
• Distributing and documenting supplies, tools, materials, and equipment upon issuance of authorized requests; preparing inventory for shipments; documenting quantities shipped. 
• Perform receiving functions for all incoming inventory; compare paperwork to assure actual inventory received is consistent with packing slips.
• Maintain inventory levels and order inventory and supplies as necessary.
• Issuing equipment, supplies, tools, and materials to field personnel for installation.
• Prepare equipment, supplies, tools, and materials by performing minor repairs and cleaning as necessary.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment area, ensuring that it is always neat and orderly.
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts and maintain inventory reports.
• Driving/ moving Company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record within Company and auto insurance required standards.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening and background check without any criminal charges, DUI’s, or illicit substances.
• Able to work full time with an open flexible schedule and willing to work weekends, overtime, and holidays when necessary to meet customer needs/ system demands.
• Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift materials up to 75 pounds from floor level to a height of 6 feet to place them on shelves or on and off vehicles.
• Adhere to Local, Federal regulations and company policies.
• Ability to implement simple record-keeping procedures, work independently, and demonstrate courtesy and patience.
